Over 80% of websites are stored and accessed online with a site management
program called CPanel.
Built into Cpanel (but not active) are three free flavours of shopping cart
- Zencart, Cubecart and Oscommerce.
Setting them up takes approximately one hour , with an hour online or onsite
to teach you how to set the shop up - you will need to create product
categories and then load in your products to the categories.
If you have pictures of your products you can upload these to the shop also.
Setup costs are $199 with 1 hour online training (we log onto your computer
remotely and guide you through setup), or $299 for onsite training .
We will arrange a booking time when you sign the design contract and return
it to us.

Payment Gateways
To process credit card you will also need a mercant account with one of the
four banks and a payment gateway that will process transactions between the
shop and the Merchant Account. Each of the banks have their own issues with
providing a gateway that is compatible with the web shops listed above. Here
is a quick summary of their offers and our recommendation - a third party
gatway which attracts additional fees but will come preconfigured for both
the web shop and the banks Merchant Account.
Commbank - the easiest of the banks
to deal with they also provide their own inhouse web shop, Evolve with a
limit of 1000 items.
Westpac - provides a Hosted Payments solution which links to a Westpac
Merchant account.
NAB - provides a Hosted Payments page where the credit card is processed and
the purchaser is returned back to your web shop once the transaction has
been completed. Also provides integration with the major shopping carts.
ANZ - By far the most difficult to deal with they are very restrictive on
both the gateway and associated merchant account. Our advice is that if you
already have business accounts with ANZ then look at one of the other 3
banks for the online merchant account.
